Collège Boréal offers Bridging programs to newcomers to Canada.

French-speaking? Internationally trained? Underemployed or unemployed?

This full-time, multidimensional program on Management and Leadership was designed to facilitate the integration of internationally educated francophone professionals into the Canadian labour market. Participants will develop their project management skills, their understanding for Canadian culture and their communication skills in the workplace, while preparing for Project Management Professional certification (PMP). Participants will have access to networking workshops and support services in job search.

Duration: Approx. 21 weeks of in-class instruction + internship: 15 weeks + 2-month (280 hours) internship. The course must be completed by February 28, 2021.

Credentials: Attestation of Collegial Studies in Business Administration (Management and Leadership)

Eligibility requirements

  • > post-secondary degree from outside of Canada ;
    > a minimum of 2 years related professional experience from outside of Canada ;
    > a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 8 in French AND level 5 in English ;
    > applicant must be a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or a Convention Refugee ;
    > applicant must not have previous Canadian work experience in the field ;
    > applicant must be ready to work in an area related to the field of study ;
    > applicant must be ready to commit the time required to finish the program;> this program requires a computer with Microsoft.
