Career Pathways for Newcomer Women (CPNW), provided by ACCES Employment, is designed to support professional newcomer women in securing employment that utilizes their skills and experience. In addition to guiding you in exploring a range of career paths that will support your short and long-term success in the labour market, you will focus on building 21st century skills, receive extensive employment coaching and regularly connect with employers and mentors. The program will equip you with the skills, confidence and professional network to thrive in fast-paced and changing work environments.

Foursight Innovation Mindset and Creative Problem Solving by Foursight and Triple Scoop Consulting

The program explores creativity and innovation strategies that provides individuals with insight on how to transform the way they work with others to solve complex problems. The workshop follows a universal creative process; clarify, ideate, develop, implement, and allows participants to identify their personal thinking preferences to understand how they approach problems as well as allowing them to better understand how others work when solving problems in the workplace

The Five Behaviours Personal Development by Wiley and Triple Scoop Consulting

Built using a model developed by Patrick Lencioni and his book The Five Dysfunctions of a Team this program allows participants to gain a deeper understanding of how to be an effective collaborator inside a team using skills built around trust, commitment, accountability, conflict and results to be more engaged and valued.  The workshop will provide them with insight into where they are at this point and what they can do to develop skills when working with teams. Persuasion, Collaboration Adaptability and Emotional Intelligence will be covered in this course.

  • Visible minority newcomer woman
  • Post-secondary degree holder
  • Canadian Language Benchmark 7 or higher
  • Permanent Resident or Convention Refugee
