This program has been postponed from a March 24, 2020 planned start date, due to the COVID-19 virus epidemic. The program will proceed, once social distancing precautions are no longer deemed necessary. 

During this 3-day course you will:

  • Learn important information about food safety
  • Learn how to prevent food-borne illnesses
  • Prepare to work in the food or restaurant industry
  • Take an exam through the Ministry of Health which is valid for five years.

YWCA Jump is a program for newcomer women and girls over the age of 13, including refugees.

To participate in the YWCA JUMP’s training programs and events, the eligible participant must be pre-registered with JUMP.
