Hack Your Future Canada aims to empower student refugees through programming skills that can help them begin a career in the technical field. Industry professionals, who work as developers for various companies, teach our students HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Database and React, covering both front-end and back-end web development. The ability to work with these technologies and understand front-end/back-end development is highly valued today. In addition to the technical skills, we also prepare our students for the job hunt by holding a resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn workshops as well as mock interviews.

After being a huge success in Amsterdam, this refugee coding academy is now available to refugees in Canada. This is a 6-month program that will train refugees with no coding/programming background and prepare them for the job market. Classes will be held only once a week in the evening to allow participants to really learn the content. Upon the completion of the program, the refugees will then be interviewed by TD Bank, Mommy Monitor, and other potential amazing employers for real potential opportunities.
