Purpose of the Program:

Provide PRs/Conventional Refugees/Live-in Caregivers with the requirements needed:

  • to be a highly skilled workforce who can joint the different trades sectors in Ontario
  • to pursue further training/education tracks

A – Technical Component:

Inside Class:

  • General Education Development certification (Alternative to High School diploma)
  • Trades Math/English (Technical Language)
  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills
  • Financial Literacy Sessions

Outside Class:

Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), Power Elevated Work Platform (PEWP), 4 Steps Awareness, Working at Heights, Health First Aid & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation – (CPR) – Career Exploration Opportunities

B – Availability of Sessions

  • Week days Morning sessions
  • Weekend afternoon sessions (Saturdays)
