Helping Newcomers Work is pleased to support a major refugee hiring event in Toronto on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019 in downtown Toronto. The event is organized by the Refugee Jobs Agenda Roundtable and is co-sponsored by Starbucks and Tent Partnership for Refugees.
Employers seeking to recruit refugee newcomers at the event include:

- McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada Limited
Together, the dozen or more employers are hoping to offer jobs in the GTA to 100 or more refugee newcomers on the spot!
If you are a refugee newcomer looking for work
You should register and begin preparing as soon as possible. Don’t delay. After you complete the registration process, you will be contacted by a participating service provider to confirm your preparation workshop, and how you can begin preparing for the event if you are scheduled for one or more interviews. If you are a private sponsor or friend of a refugee newcomer
This hiring event could be a great opportunity to recommend to a refugee newcomer looking for work. However, we encourage you to do so quickly!
If you are an employment service or settlement agency
